American legendary motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has tied up with Hero MotoCorp to sell bikes in India. They announced the launch of a new edition of a bunch of models in the country in May.
The list includes Harley-Davidson Night star, Night star Special, Sportster, Fat Bob, Fat Boy, Street Glide, Road Glide, Breakout 117, Heritage 114 and Pan America Special. These bikes can be purchased from every Harley Davidson showroom in India.
2024 Harley-Davidson Premium Range
Arrives in India
It should be noted that
Harley-Davidson's Harley-Davidson Night star and Night star Special have been
priced at Tk 13.39 lakh and Tk 14.09 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). These are
the cheapest models within the premium range. Harley-Davidson Sportster S will
cost Rs 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Classic Harley Cruiser range
includes several models. Which includes – Fat Bob (Tk 21.49 lakh), Fat Boy (Tk
25.69 lakh), Heritage 114 (Tk 27.19 lakh) and Breakout 117 (Tk 30.99 lakh). All
prices above are as per ex-showroom price.
The top spec variant of the Pan
America adventure tourer has been brought back. The new bike is priced at Tk
24.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide will be
priced at Tk 38.79 lakh and Tk 41.79 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). The
latest model is the company's most expensive bike.
Incidentally, the 2024 Harley-Davidson
Street Glide and 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide have received several
improvements. They are now more powerful, lighter in weight and feature rich
than before. Engine will be cooler and performance will be better. It has four
riding modes – Road, Sport, Rain and Custom.
In terms of technology, the new
Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Harley-Davidson Road Glide feature a 12.3-inch
TFT touchscreen dashboard, new 200-watt audio amplifier. Again, the rear
suspension travel length has been increased and the seats have been given a new
design.
